During the last two weeks in this class, I read about Microblogging and how social media can be used for research. Therefore, part of the readings are based on metrics and analysis with the use of Social Media. These readings make me understand the article "We are data" by John Cheney-Lippold , where he tells us that technology has become an important part of our personal and professional lives. Since we constantly share information with the Internet and it is being collected to be shared with third parties. A microblogging according to Nations, D. Social media refer to all types of media with a "social" connotation, such as social networks, blogs, forums, etc. On the other hand, social networks refer to a special category within social media, which are platforms for communication and information exchange. Among the social networks that I use constantly are Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok . Furthermore, YouTube is a social media that is defined as a multimedia tool. My social networks for social and family use, such as within my Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok, I only have friends and family with whom I need to communicate regularly. Instead, I use YouTube to listen to music and watch videos that interest me. The time I spend on my social networks is a total of 2 hours a day since I have established this time so as not to be distracted from the rest of my obligations.
